BBC has decided to Create a TV film around the most famous Hollywood couple And Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. Not many are familiar with Lifetime’s attempt to make a similar movie with Lindsay Lohan as Taylor and Grant Bowler as Burton. Lifetime’s version was widely criticized and disliked, so thank god BBC decided to save the day

BBC America has released their first teaser trailer for “Burton and Taylor” starring Dominic West and Helena Bonham Carter. The TV film will look at the glamorous, troubled and tumultuous relationship between the famous Hollywood couple. Centering on their 1983 roles in the revival of the play “Private Lives,” which came out years after the couple divorced for the second time.

 

I’m quite looking forward to watch Helena Bonham Carter reprise the role of Elizabeth Taylor. Dominic West who you may remember from “The Wire” will be playing the role of Richard Burton. BBC have cast two amazing actors, who i believe will do amazingly well together.
